Yes. The Cobalt Smart-Heat Electric supports wall and ceiling installation using its adjustable mounting bracket. This allows the heat to be directed toward dining, seating, or lounge areas. The final position and clearances must follow the Bromic installation manual.
A controller is not included with the heater. The Cobalt is compatible with Bromic Affinity On/Off and Dimmer Controllers, as well as an appropriate manual wall switch. Compatible controls are purchased separately, allowing you to select the type of control that works best for your outdoor space.
Yes. This fixed electric heater must be installed by a licensed and authorized professional in accordance with local electrical codes. The electrical requirements depend on the selected 4000W or 6000W model and voltage. The installer should also verify the mounting surface, circuit, clearances, and final heater placement.
Yes. The Cobalt is constructed with 304-grade stainless steel and carries an IPX4 rating for outdoor use. It is weather-resistant, but it should not be described as completely waterproof. Proper installation and care are important. Bromic lists a one-year parts warranty and a seven-year warranty on the heating elements, subject to its warranty terms.
